HONED TUBE , HYDRAULIC CYLINDER TUBE

Honing technology is a kind of traditional technology. It will not change mechanical properties of internal surface of tubes after honing. In contrast with stress left in internal surface of skived&roller burnished tubes,there is no stress in internal surface of stress relieved honed tubes and we can ensure bore roughness of 0.4um max. Theoretically, any size can be honed although the ID that can be honed is restricted to 32mm.

Although it takes much time for honing than skiving&roller burnishing,honing is still widely used for processing of tube internal surface because of very low cost of machine,honing tools&accessories, and much bigger size range of honing.
